Airmen from Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland directly joined the RAF as they were part of the United Kingdom. This list is designed to ONLY highlight the nationality of those named, not detract from any importance of service with the RAF. Although they were not Commonwealth airmen as such, they have been included in this section to further highlight the multi-national make-up of the squadron. In this section is also included those from mainland European nations (either of the Commonwealth or not) that served with 59 Sqn. This list is almost certainly incomplete...

Note: Unless requested - The nationalities of those who hailed from "Northern Ireland" & "Ireland" will be represented by both flags together and the positioning of these two flags in no way represents any alliegience of my own...
