"Dad's name is Ronald Brown. I Think the pilot's name was South African - Kronge possibley ?? (Cronje) He was posted to 59 in Summer 44 - I know he also went to Nassau for a bit and wasn't best pleased when the crew got sent home after a few weeks !
 
I'll ask him at the weekend - he has quite a few interesting tales of engines catching fire, crashing at Nassau, getting lost in the Bermuda triangle etc. . the photo's may take a bit longer - my brother has the photo album!
