Update August 2014: Recently contacted by Peter, Jack's son who sent in the following...

"Jack's log book says he was with 59 Squadron GRLR from 15 May 43 until 7 June 44. He flew in Liberator Vs stationed at Nutts Corner, Aldergrove and Ballykelly in Northern Ireland. During his time with 59 he logged 302.20 hours with the squadron and appears to have completed 9 operational missions."
