Ken came from a small country town in Northern NSW (Walcha). He was from a family of 5. I think he was the second youngest. It was a farming family. He is recorded on the war memorial at Walcha. My grandfather was the only other member of the family to go overseas in the army. Ken was born on the 9/3/1914. He was 28 when he joined up.
