Little is known of W/C Morgan-Weld-Smith at this time. He was pilot when he and his crew failed to return from an attack on Cherbourg during the Battle of Britain. view details

It appears that he took command of 59 Squadron after they returned from France in May 1940 and C/O Fyfe left for 107 Sqn.
